Job Title: Commercial director
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Salary: €80,000 gross per annum + Package

We are working with an outstanding international company seeking a Commercial Director to guide their team toward ongoing success.

In this role, your primary responsibility will be to enhance the company's market position and drive its financial growth.

This position will involve both strategic operational and sales responsibilities. Additionally, you will oversee your direct team while having indirect involvement in various areas of the business, including procurement, legal, and finance.

As the Commercial Director, your role will involve actively engaging with the customer base to strengthen and nurture relationships in a way that benefits both parties.

Central to this position will be managing pricing and contractual commitments, requiring a solid grasp of the constantly evolving supply chain and procurement environment.

Alongside building and sustaining strong operational partnerships, a solid sales acumen will be essential.

From a sales perspective, you will be involved in managing both current accounts and pursuing new business opportunities.

This is you:

• Extensive account management experience in a hospitality environment, where overseeing various customers and stakeholders is crucial.
• International experience would be highly advantageous for this role.
  
  While extensive travel isn't a major component, having insight into regional variations would be beneficial for quickly adapting to the position.
• A solid grasp of sales, especially regarding the retendering of existing accounts, is necessary for success.
• Strong financial expertise is required, particularly in P&L management, pricing strategies, and contract development.
