Building Maintenance Officer

We are looking to offer a position for an experienced Maintenance Officer / Multi Trade Worker / handyman to work full time completing repairs and maintenance on site in student accommodation based in Westminster.




The role.



As the Maintenance Handy Person you will take on all minor repairs to the building and the rooms on behalf of our service.



Daily tasks you can expect to be doing.


Carry out repairs and maintenance duties in accordance with safe operating procedures and relevant health & safety policies and around Basic Joinery and Plumbing.



Keep all windows, doors, kitchen units and furniture are in working order by repairing, replacing or easing and adjusting.



Maintain onsite facilities by repairing/replacing washers, taps, tiles, ball valves, WC seats, fuses, light bulbs, handles, locks and sealing around baths/sinks/showers.



Ensure all common parts are clear of potential hazards including those attributable to seasonal changes including external footpaths.

Keep clear air-bricks, gullies and low level guttering from blockages.



Salary


This is a full time temporary post with a view to going permanent in the future.

Salary is £17.10 PAYE per hour inclusive of holiday pay or £18.82 LTD umbrella should you wish this option.


this will be paid weekly to you whilst on temp assignment ( monthly when you go permanent)
