In House Counsel

We are working with one of the UK's largest gaming and entertainment businesses to recruit a Commercial Solicitor for a Legal Counsel role, based in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

This is a wide ranging commercial legal role which will see you manage a broad and interesting mix of legal matters - these will be broadly commercial in nature and commercial contracts experience is a pre-requisite.

Working closely with the General Counsel, you will also have exposure to some fascinating regulatory matters and will be involved in data protection and IP amongst the many other legal queries that may cross your desk.

You will work closely with other departments and will build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Our client offers great benefits and a salary of up to £75K.

Ideally, the business is looking for someone with around 2-6 years PQE in commercial law (gained either in house or in private practice), but this is simply given as a guideline - they are very happy to hear from more experienced lawyers who feel this role could be of interest to them.
