Conveyancing Legal Exec

Role Overview:
The firm is seeking a qualified and experienced Conveyancing Legal Executive to join their property team.

The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload of residential property transactions, providing expert legal advice and ensuring a smooth process from instruction to completion.

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality service to clients, while meeting deadlines and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Managing a full caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, transfers of equity, and remortgages
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, transfer deeds, and other legal documents
- Conducting property searches, and ensuring due diligence on all transactions
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties to ensure timely and accurate progress on transactions
- Handling exchanges of contracts and completions, ensuring all legal formalities are met
- Advising clients on legal issues related to property transactions and addressing any concerns
- Maintaining accurate records and files using the firm’s case management system
- Staying updated with relevant conveyancing laws and regulations to ensure compliance

Key Skills & Requirements:

- Qualified Legal Executive (CILEx) with experience in residential conveyancing
- Proven ability to manage a varied caseload independently
- Strong knowledge of property law and the conveyancing process
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with a client-focused approach
- Proficiency in using case management systems and other legal software
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
