Transport Planner Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a planning role
• Experience using a transport planning system
• Well versed with excel
• Good communication, interpersonal skills and conflict management skills.
• Self-motivation and drive for results.
• An ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Ability to make timely and well-judged decisions under pressure and with conflicting requests
• Flexible working will be required at times to support manufacturing operations
  

  Transport Planner Duties:

• Prepare transportation plans and routes to optimize and maximize profitability.
• Manage and coordinate the activity of fleet managers, monitoring routes.
• Prepare the drivers’ activity according to schedules and holidays and legal regulations.
• Analysis and definition of budget volumes and transport forecasts.
• Creation of reports and management of KPIs to optimize the load rate..
• Initiate the development of new reporting tools to (Business Intelligence) to standardize results summaries for all group.
