Outreach Worker - Positive Behaviour Support (Band 4)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Band 4 Support Worker to join the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) team, part of the Adult and Children's Learning Disabilities Service on the beautiful Island of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands.

Reporting to the PBS Lead you will;
- assist with the implementation of Positive Behavioural Support for referred children, young people and adults with learning disabilities.


- conducting assessment of individual’s needs
- developing PBS plans and supporting families and staff to implement a variety of positive behavioural interventions 

Please note; Guernsey has adopted the AfC banding system, but have applied their own salary scales.
The Guernsey Band 4 salary range from 1st Jan is £31,966 to £37,967 plus an annual bonus of £1,605 and higher unsocial hours enhancements; 40% evening/Saturday and 80% Sunday/BH.
Annual leave starts at 36 days up to 42 days with full credit for NHS service for annual leave and sick leave.

The island of Guernsey is in the Channel Islands and has a population of 65,000.

It has some of the British Isles' finest and best-kept beaches, a mild and sunny climate, and an offbeat, historic harbor town in St.

Peter's Port, the island's capital.

Person Requirements:
Current or recent experience supporting children and/or adults with learning disabilities/Autism and challenging behaviour. 
Level 4 PBS BTEC or RBT Qualification (or equivalent)
