- 12:00 - 22:30 Mon - Thurs ( must be flexible as hours can vary)

Starting pay rate - £11.50 per hour

Are you an experienced General operative with some Engineering Experience? If yes, read on….

My client is a large manufacturing company based in Leicester.

They are currently searching for a new General operative to join their team.

Commutable from areas including Leicester, Narborough, Blaby,  Whetstone and surrounding areas

The Role - General Operative 

- Using a hole punch and drawings to put hanging holes in products correctly
- Setting the correct jigs and using the correct size hooks to load products on a moving track
- Setting paint tags using job sheets as a reference
- Packaging completed items ready for despatch
- Packing away of used paint boxes or delivered boxes
- Fettling, cutting, bending, gluing and swaging of products ready for the next days work

 

Minimum Skills / Experience Required - General Operative

- This person must work well as part of a team
- They must be used to working in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and reading skills are vital
- It is important this person has a good eye for detail
- Previous experience fettling or general sheet metal fabrication 
- Counterbalance Licence is desirable
