Banking Solicitor

This Banking team have a national reach but also a local presence and are looking to recruit a number of Banking Solicitors to their national team to be based in Leeds.

The work available is truly national and of an exceptional quality as they are on many major panels, that said they are not one of the large international firms and consequently they have a completely different offer in terms of environment, approach and career trajectory.

Given their current work, and their pipeline, they are looking for several recruits to deliver on their strategic growth, both at the senior and mid-level.

They are keen to speak to :

• Established Banking Partners looking for a good degree of autonomy and a friendly, supportive, down to earth team


• Senior Banking Lawyers keen to step into partnership - if you are keen to take on a role where there are existing panel relationships that can be further developed without you feeling like you are treading on the toes of others.


• Mid-level Banking lawyers ( 3-6yrs) - it may be that you are already within established team but are looking for a practice where there is plenty of scope for progression and autonomy but with a supportive approach.

It is unusual or a national team to be able to offer such a clear run at so many panels, but they can genuinely do so and by grabbing that opportunity there are clear paths to progression whatever your level.

Whatever your level you will work with household name funders - core banks and alternative lenders - as well as acting for borrowers across corporate and real estate (investment and development).

The quality of the work is equivalent to that at many international firms, and they are looking for someone already handling this work but do promise to offer a different environment than that found in many teams.

The team is down to earth and there are no egos at all.

There are long standing team members, the fact that there is little turnover in this team says a lot about their culture and approach.

They also have a sensible approach to hours and targets, banking solicitors typically work long hours, but this team only does so when it is absolutely necessary.
