Consultant Psychiatrist

THE POSITION

Our Client is seeking a dedicated Consultant Psychiatrists to join their Mental Health Service.

Various positions are available, offering an opportunity to make a significant impact on mental health care in regional communities.

You will be part of the Rural Psychiatry Training WA Program, a ground-breaking initiative transforming rural mental health care in Australia and New Zealand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver high-quality mental health services to patients in the South West Region.


• Contribute to the training and mentorship of psychiatry trainees.


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve mental health care delivery.


• Engage in research and psychotherapy training as part of the Rural Psychiatry Training WA Program.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will have:

• Specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).


• Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) or equivalent.


• Passion for rural psychiatry and the ability to mentor trainees in a rural setting.
