Service Care Solutions are pleased to present an exciting opportunity working in partnership with our established client to recruit an experienced Therapist in the Central London area.

The service supports Children and Younger People between the ages of 7-25 providing reflective and therapeutically informed care.

This a community-based role with travel throughout the UK required.

The successful candidate will work as part of the Staying Close programme, ensuring care leavers receive excellent ongoing emotional wellbeing support whilst promoting their independence.

Job Purpose: Therapist



Salary: £15,000-£16,000 per annum (£40,000 FTE) + £250 Welcome Bonus



Location: Central London, UK Travel is required (Hybrid Working)



Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00-20:00 (Flexible Working)



Contract: Part-time | 15 Hours



The post holder will work as part of the Multidisciplinary Team to engage, encourage and inspire the Younger People to be themselves.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Collaborating with managers and residential staff to enhance psychological understanding in their work with young people.

  • Supporting the implementation of therapeutic care plans across the services.

  • Offering consultation and reflective practice sessions to help staff develop trauma-informed approaches.

  • Providing clinical supervision to trainee placement students.



Essential



  • Relevant Qualification (Counselling, Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, etc)

  • Professional Registration (BACP, BABCP, UKCP, HCPC)

  • Substantial experience working with Children & Younger People
