We are currently looking for a Children's Senior Practitioner to join a Child Protection Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience.

About the team

This team is responsible for safeguarding children and young people throughout the borough going through children in need, child protection and court proceedings.

Aiding in the day to day running of the team to support the team manager and offer guidance to those in the team as necessary are key aspects in this role.

A small caseload of complex cases is also a responsibility in this position.

About you

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of three years post qualified experience is essential to this role.

You will be an enthusiastic and committed Social Worker with substantial working knowledge in a children's frontline setting with experience supervising staff.

A valid UK driving licence and vehicle is essential to this role.
