JOB DESCRIPTION



Job Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for managing all projects as assigned.

This will involve working with the superintendent or technicians assigned to the project to ensure delivery on time and within budget and managing all subcontractors.

Additional duties will include participating in selected proposals, specifications, price estimates, schedules, and sales efforts.

Also, responsibilities will include Sales and Service Support, Field Resources, and Customer Management communication as necessary.




Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for contributing to proposals and specifications as assigned.

    • Conceptual Phase (estimates & schedules)
    • Program Planning Phase
    • Design Phase
  • Accountable for managing all Project Managers and Superintendents as assigned.

    • Conduct Pre-bid meetings
    • Conduct Pre-con meetings
    • Construction Phase
    • Effective Close-out
  • Manage key metrics and report on a regular basis or as required
  • Drive project schedule
  • Coordinate work with GC Senior Management Team, Construction Managers, Program Managers, Sales & Service Support, Customer Management (WTI & Tremco Roofing), and Resource Management
  • Participate in the Preventive and Corrective Action process with responsibility and authority to:
    • Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformity relating to service, process, and quality.
    • Identify and record any service, process, or quality system problems.
    • Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels.
    • Verify the implementation of solutions.
    • Control further processing, delivery, or installation of non-conforming products until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
    • Conduct QC inspections on projects
    • Ensure Compliance with Specifications and Safety Standards
    • Ensure Owner Satisfaction.
    • Report to CM handling of the project.

      Conduct Evaluations of Project Superintendents and Field inspectors.

Abilities and Skills:



Technical

  • Knowledge of all Products and Services that WTI offers
  • Knowledge of job site management
  • Understanding of all Construction Management tasks
  • Understanding to carry out Superintendent roles & responsibilities
  • Deep understanding of multiple construction disciplines
  • Must be OSHA 30-hour certified

Communications

  • Superior written, oral, and digital communication skills
  • Ability to generate professional proposal documents

Computer Literacy

  • Working knowledge of word processing software, e-mail software, and the use of the Internet
  • Proficient use of all Excel functions
  • Working knowledge of Progen strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of MS Project
  • Knowledge of SAP preferred
