The Role


This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and efficient Email Marketing Specialist to join a well-regarded marketing team on a Fixed Term 12-month contract.


You will have a deep expertise in email marketing principles, trends and best practice and be able to hit the ground running.


The successful candidate will have a background working within superannuation or a funds management environment.



Key Accountabilities include:



  • Develop and implement an email marketing strategy that aligns with business goals, audience needs, and industry best practices.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to create, execute, and send email campaigns that adhere to brand guidelines and industry standards.

  • Segment email lists based on customer demographics, behaviours, and preferences to deliver personalized and relevant content.

  • Conduct A/B tests on subject lines, content, design, and calls to action to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.

  • Uphold email marketing best practices, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations, anti-spam, and privacy laws.

  • Design and execute visually appealing email templates that engage customers and drive action, while ensuring compatibility across email clients and devices.

  • Contribute ideas and feedback to foster ongoing improvement and innovation within the marketing team.



To be successful you will have



  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for email template coding and compatibility.

  • Intermediate design skills to craft visually compelling email templates and graphics.

  • Comprehensive understanding of Australian email compliance laws and regulations, as well as best practice principles.

  • Exceptional writing, grammar, and editing skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Strong ability to prioritise and manage multiple work requests, meet deadlines, and consistently produce high-quality results.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, interpersonal, and communication skills.
