Product Design Engineer - Lighting

Redline are seeking a Product Designer Engineer - LED lighting to join our client, a Lighting Manufacturer based in Ware, Hertfordshire.

This role will be based within their Technical Team and will involve development and documentation of new external LED lighting products and continuous improvement of existing products across the range.

Requirements of Product Designer Engineer - LED lighting:

• Engineering degree or equivalent field experience


• Previous experience in the Lighting industry - external lighting specifically


• New Product Design / NPI experience


• Exposure to materials such as plastic and aluminium mould tools and folded sheet metal within the design & manufacturing process


• Experience of using design tools; Solidworks, Simulation, FlowSimulation and InDesign
