Payroll Specialist

Job Description:

Do you have payroll experience and are looking for your next role? We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Specialist to join the team at a financial services firm on a permanent basis.

This role is based in Glasgow.

• CIPP qualification desirable


• Payroll experience - ability to explain PAYE and calculations


• Proficient in use of payroll systems, experience of Access People XD desirable


• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills


• Strong Microsoft Excel

• Processing of end-to-end monthly payroll


• Assisting with calculation and submission of monthly and tax year end PAYE to HMRC


• Processing of payroll benefits


• Dealing with queries and requests in relation to payroll, pensions, and benefits


• Ensuring adherence to processes, procedures & controls


• Completion of month end payroll reports


• Cover for Payroll Manager
