Sales & Marketing Manager, £34k - £36k, Maternity Cover

We are working with a unique heritage venue in London who host an array of events from weddings and corporate, to fashion shows and filming! We are looking for an experienced sales and marketing manager to join up the team on 12 month maternity cover, supporting in driving sales to exceed targets as well as full planning and coordination of events.

The sales and marketing manager will support the head of deparment in coming up with creative ideas and promotions to market the venue and drive awareness.

Responsibilites:

• Responsible for achieveng and exceeding sales targets 
• Proactively market the venue to generate new business
• Manage 1 event coordinator to ensure key dates are maximised
• Respond to volume events from clients, agencies, and suppliers
• Focus on confirming multi-day, high revenue events
• Assist the Head of department with strategies and sales plans
• Support in managing the sales and marketing correspondence from social media, newsletters, brochures etc.
• Attend tradeshows and networking events on behalf of the venue

Skills and Experience:

• Previous event sales experience ideally from a unique venue
• Experience in supporting with marketing invcluding ditigal media
• Hihg-end and large scale evnt coordination and management
• Knowledge of health and safety and fire regulations
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
• Customer relationship management
• A creative thinker 
• Strong organisational skills and detail orientated
