Holt Engineering have a very exciting trainee opportunity for someone looking to become a fully skilled Production Technician. 

This role will be working alongside an organised production team to ensure testing and build targets are met, this role involves machine testing, building sub-assemblies, finished products and any other tasks as and when needed.



The starting Salary is Circa £26,000 DOE with the opportunity to increase up to £30,000 within the first year, the role is based in Poole working a day shift with an early finish on Fridays

Duties of the successful Trainee Production Technician 

- Working on the testing and product/sub-assembly build and completing daily assignments to meet the production schedule
- Maintaining the high standards of quality, regulatory and ISO requirements
- Working on a range of electro-mechanical sub assemblies and full product builds

Requirements to be considered for the Trainee Production Technician 

- Previous experience of assembling electrical or mechanical goods is essential. 
- Ability to assemble electrical or mechanical goods following technical drawings. 
- Willingness to work as part of a team and take on other activities in the factory
- Quality focused individual with good attention to detail and the ability to work to tight delivery schedules
- Experience within an engineering/ manufacturing environment
- A valid forklift would be advantageous but not essential
