Family Support Worker
Service Care Solutions are currently supporting Solihull Council in the recruitment of an accomplished Family Support Worker to join the Children's Services Team in Solihull.
As a Family Support Worker, your role will involve effective collaboration with parents/carers and other professionals to undertake various tasks aimed at providing support, guidance, and care to children and their families.
The objective is to enable children to be safely cared for within their families.
Job Details:
- Pay: £15.70 per hour
- Location: Chelmunds Place, Solihull
- Contract: Initially a 3 month contract with a view to be extended.
There may also be an opportunity later on down the line to become permanent with the council.
Job Responsibilities:
- Engaging in direct work with parents/carers and children, including individual and, if suitable, group activities.
- Observing and assessing progress towards goals, making recommendations for future work.
- Providing information to colleagues to aid in the assessment of needs and decision-making.
To thrive in this role, candidates must possess:
- Experience in direct work with children and families.
- A full UK driver's license.
- Access to their own vehicle.
