Paying £12 - £13 per hour 

Overtime paid at a premium 

 

Our established Metal Manufacturing client is currently recruiting for an experienced Engineering Production Operative /assembly operative to join their team.

Other suitable job titles could be Workshop Operative, Engineering Operative, Warehouse Operative, Mechanical Assembler, Assembly Operative and Machine Operator.

Based in Leicester 

 
Duties:

- Could involve Metal Coating, Cutting, Drilling, Assembly 

- Training provided

- Using a variety of engineering tools and machinery

- Working from job order sheets

- Working to deadlines

- Visually inspecting parts

- Must be able to read engineering drawings 

 

Key Skills / Experience Required for the Assembly operative/ general operative 

- Previous experience as a Workshop Operative, Engineering Operative, Warehouse Operative, Mechanical Assembler, Assembly Operative or Machine Operator

- Must be able to read engineering drawings 

- Ability to work with various hand tools or engineering machinery

- Hard-working and motivated

- A keen eye for detail and ability to work to tight tolerances

- Able to work independently and as part of a team

 

The Package of the General operative/Assembly operative 

- Pay rate £12 - £13 per hour dependant on experience - Overtime available
