Speech and Language Therapy Lead

We are working in collaboration with our established client to recruit an experienced Speech and Language Therapy Lead in the Surrey area.

The successful candidate will lead a highly experienced Therapy Team, providing support to Children between the ages of 7-19 with a range of conditions including high functioning Autism.

This is a Full-time opportunity, with flexibility on hours available.



The service is an independent, specialist day school set in a beautiful semi-rural location providing specialist care to Children and Younger people with complex conditions including ASD.

They tailor the level of care and support to each individual student via an education and therapeutic approach.

The service is easily accessible from Guildford, with transport links available.

Role: Speech and Language Therapy Lead
Contract: Permanent (Full-time)

Location: Godalming, Surrey

Salary: £60,000 per annum + £250 Welcome Bonus, paid via Service Care Solutions
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of highly skilled clinicians.


• Conduct initial assessments of both new and existing students to determine the scope and nature of their Speech and Language Therapy needs.


• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of therapy sessions, case notes, and student progress, and provide regular progress reports.


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and other professionals, to ensure holistic support for each student's needs.


• Assist with the analysis and reporting of data for research, audits, and statistical purposes.


• Work independently, managing your own workload while contributing to the overall success of the therapy team.

Requirements:

• Degree or Equivalent Qualification in Speech and Language Therapy


• HCPC Registration


• Experience working with Children and Younger People


• Previous Management/Leadership experience
