CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator
Location: Ely, Cambridge

Salary: £17-£21ph

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled 5-Axis CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our team.

This role requires expertise in CAD/CAM systems, a strong background in 5-axis programming, and flexibility to meet tight deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and experience working with complex drawings and castings.


Key Responsibilities:

• Program, set, and operate 5-axis CNC machines for precision components in the motorsports industry.


• Utilize CAD/CAM software, preferably Hypermill (training can be provided if necessary).


• Interpret complex engineering drawings to create accurate programs and setups.


• Design and manufacture simple fixtures as required for efficient production.


• Maintain accurate work documentation, including logging times in our ERP system to support job profitability and ISO 9001 compliance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in 5-axis CNC programming and machining.


• Strong proficiency in CAD/CAM software; Hypermill experience is preferred.


• Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings accurately.


• Prior experience with castings is an advantage.


• Flexibility to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
