A local independent pharmacy just outside Whitley Bay is now looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team.

Set in a primarily residential neighbourhood, the pharmacy is a popular and convenient place to go to for prescriptions and additional services such as Pharmacy First, smoking cessation support, flu jabs, and more – the team is also looking to expand the list.

The store itself a spacious and pleasant environment with plenty of on-street parking around and bus links serving the area.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll be playing a key role in supporting the Pharmacist Manager and helping to keep the pharmacy running smoothly.

You’ll use your finely tuned skills to safely prepare and dispense prescriptions, ensure compliance and resolve queries, with plenty of opportunities for further skill development and career progression.

This is a permanent opportunity, both full-time and part-time can be considered.

Person specification:

• (Essential) NVQ Level 3 or equivalent pharmacy qualification (e.g.
  
  Diploma in Principles and Practice / Pharmacy Services)
• (Essential) Registration with the GPhC as a Pharmacy Technician
