We are looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join a Young Persons Substance Misuse Team.

ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE A MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS POST QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE IN THE UK AS A SOCIAL WORKER.

About the team:

You will be joining the team in a specialist role, working with young women on a therapeutic level, who are at risk of losing a child due to substance misuse.

You will be dealing with women aged 16-25, often who have had a child removed from them before.

The Borough is working with a Pause charity who specifically work on these types of cases.

About you

You must have a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in working within Children Services.

Previous experience within Adolescent, Leaving Care, Child Protection and Children in Need Teams would be beneficial.

You must also have a degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW).
