Sales Estimator

Location: Lee-on-the-Solent

Salary: £45k

Are you a skilled engineer with a passion for sales?

Holt Engineering are seeking a Technical Sales Estimator to join our client in Lee-on-the-Solent.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in engineering, combined with excellent sales and communication skills.

The company has been operating for over 70 years and works heavily within the aerospace and oil & gas industries.

They are looking to expand their reach to other sectors.

Sales Estimator Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers
- Generate and process sales quotes and proposals
- Provide technical support and advice to customers
- Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure timely delivery of products
- Manage the sales pipeline and track sales performance

Sales Estimator Requirements:

- Strong technical background in engineering (mechanical preference)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong negotiation and sales skills
- Proficiency in using sales and CRM software
- Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Experience in the engineering industry, preferably in a sales or technical role
