A leading HGV Axillary company require a Mechanical Assembly Lead / Supervisor to join their team.

This would suit individuals that have worked as an Assembly Fitter, Plant fitter, Vehicle Technician, or Mechanic.

The role would require you to lead a small team of assembly fitters in the assembly of vehicle mounted discharge systems.

Key responsibilities of the Mechanical Assembly Lead / Supervisor

• Ensure that production processes are efficient and meet high standards


• Lead a small team of assemblers


• Supervise and support production staff, including training employees and evaluating performance


• Organise workflow by assigning tasks and preparing schedules


• Maintain accurate records while overseeing Smartsheet documentation

Requirements of the Mechanical Assembly Lead / Supervisor

• Engineering Production background.


• Strong Organisational leadership and problem-solving skills


• Previous experience in similar role


• Excellent Verbal and written communication skills


• Proficiency in MS office, Smartsheet
