Casualty Fraud File Handler

Sacco Mann is working with a specialist defendant insurance firm who have a vacancy for a Caualty Fraud File Handler to join their team based in Bolton.

This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse caseload of suspected fraudulent EL/PL cases on behalf of prominent insurer clients, working on multi-track claims valued up to £100K.

As a Casualty Fraud File Handler, your main responsibilities will be:

• Analyse and assess liability issues in employer and public liability claims.


• Conduct thorough investigations, review evidence, and manage disclosure processes.


• Draft key documents, including reports, counter schedules, medical expert questions, and trial bundles.


• Engage with counsel, experts, and investigators as needed.


• Attend case management conferences, applications and trials.


• Monitor claims progression, ensuring compliance with client SLAs and quality standards.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record in EL/PL claims handling and litigation.

An analytical mindset and strong decision-making abilities are also essential.

The successful candidate will be organised and capable of working to deadlines under pressure, with strong IT skills and familiarity with compliance frameworks.
