ESOL Tutor

Duration: Initially 3 months
Hours: 18 hours a week (occasional evening hours until 9.30pm)
Rate: £24 umbrella an hour (£19 PAYE an hour)

The London Borough of Sutton is looking for a Sessional Tutor to join their team to teach ESOL from Entry Level up to Level 2 Qualification

Responsibilities

• Undertake a teaching commitment for the work offered and you are available for


• Plan, prepare, deliver and evaluate all courses you are responsible for


• Deliver stimulating sessions that will inspire learners


• Set high expectations for learners from the start of the learning journey, outlining and embedding college and course expectations

Requirements

• Experience of delivering ESOL qualifications up to level 2 with exam board Trinity or other exam boards


• Appropriate teaching qualification for the Post 16 sector


• Qualification in the subject specialism


• Experience of teaching in Adult Education or Further education
