Technician Pharmacy Manager
A popular community pharmacy in Hull is currently looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join the team as their Pharmacy Manager.
The pharmacy is a thriving store, benefitting from local amenities, public transport links, and parking availability close by.
The team is highly experienced and supports visitors with their prescriptions and a full range of additional services alongside, including Pharmacy First, emergency medicines and Covid/flu vaccinations, with a view to expand into travel clinic services early next year.
As Pharmacy Manager, you’ll lead the day-to-day operations of the store.
Alongside key technical support for prescriptions and other services, you’ll be involved in coordinating team and business activities, ensuring standards are met, and overall ensuring service users have the best experience possible with the pharmacy.
You’ll have great support from your senior colleagues as well as the pharmacy owner, a practicing Pharmacist and familiar face in-store, to get settled in and take advantage of further learning and development opportunities that build on your skills and experience.
This is a permanent, part-time role for a Pharmacy Manager (Pharmacy Technician), ideally 4 days per week.
Person specification:
- (Essential) NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Service Skills or Level 3 Diploma in Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians
- (Essential) Valid GPhC registration
- (Essential) Team management / leadership experience
- (Desirable) Accuracy Checking certified
