Paying £18.41 per hour 
Working hours: 7am till 5.30pm - Mon to Thurs or Tues to Sat

Commutable from Peterborough, Stamford, Uppingham, Corby and surrounding areas

Job description

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Welder/Fitter. 

 
The Role - Welder / Fitter:

- fabricate / weld - MIG mild steel welding as well as fitting & installing on site
- To fabricate medium gauge metal components up to 10mm
- Working from engineering drawings
- Working independently and as part of a team

 
Minimum Skills / Experience Required -Welder / Fitter:

- Have a good engineering background with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings      
- Experience site welding and fitting
- Ability to work with all types of metal up to 10mm
- Must have good attention to detail
- Be able to finish a product to a very high standard
- Be punctual and a good timekeeper 
- Be confident, organised and methodical
- Be enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to motivate others
- Work well as a team member
- Be able to problem solve and come up with solutions
- Own transport is essintial

- Pay rate £18.41
- Overtime available
- Free onsite parking

- Required to work 3 weekends a year
