Litigation And Contracts Solicitor

Service Care Solutions is working alongside a thriving local authority, based in Warwickshire, which needs an experienced litigation and contracts solicitor to join their Legal Services team.

You will manage a varied caseload across contracts, environmental health, licensing, waste management, and health and safety, providing legal advice and support to the Council.

The role can pay a rate of £50-£55ph umbrella.

The rate offered will depend upon experience and interview performance.

This role can be done on a hybrid basis (attendance will be required at court hearings and Licensing committees) and is a part-time position.

Key Responsibilities Of The Litigation And Contracts Solicitor Role:

• Advise on legal matters relating to contracts, environmental health, licensing, waste management, and health and safety.


• Represent the Council in Magistrates Court, County Court, High Court, Planning Inquiries, Tribunals, and Arbitration.


• Conduct advocacy and manage civil and planning proceedings, ensuring the Council's interests are protected.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor with relevant experience in litigation and public sector law.


• Strong advocacy skills and experience in court proceedings.


• Knowledge of environmental health, licensing, and related legislation.
