Project Manager - Regulatory
Job Description:
We are working on an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to join the team at a leading financial services firm.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning and managing multiple regulatory remediation projects from inception through to delivery.
Skills/Experience:
- Experience working in a Change Delivery within Financial Services
- Experience of Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience of working with outsourced service providers.
- Prince 2 or equivalent
- Project planning experience
- Resource, change and budget management experience.
- Excellent influencing & negotiation skills.
Core Responsibilities:
- Managing projects within the agreed budget, applying the defined change management processes when required.
- Formulating and updating project plans and maintaining schedules
- Creation and maintenance of RAID logs.
- Reviewing and monitoring progress against project plans to ensure outputs are delivered to time, budget and quality specifications.
- Managing risks, issues and resources to ensure milestone dates are achieved.
- Estimating project costs as required.
- Reporting project progress in line with stated policies and procedures.
- Regular communication with stakeholders
- Establishing teams, to ensure the efficient delivery of projects (such teams to be either real or virtual).
- Setting project objectives and working within a matrix management environment.
