Position Details

As a Psychiatry Registrar (Principal House Officer), you will:



  • Deliver high-quality mental health care under the supervision of experienced consultants and registrars.

  • Participate in comprehensive rotations within the Gold Coast Mental Health and Specialist Services (GCMHSS).

  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of patient care through evidence-based practice and multidisciplinary collaboration.

  • Engage in teaching activities, mentoring junior staff, and supporting medical students.

  • Be part of a talent pool, with the opportunity to match roles to your skills and preferences.


Job Details:



  • Fixed-term full-time position.

  • Salary: $129,583 - $150,240 per annum.

  • Job duration: 1 year.

Requirements

Qualifications:



  • MBBS or equivalent, with eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA).


Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills within a multidisciplinary setting.

  • Ability to provide compassionate, evidence-based care in a public health environment.
