As an Operations Manager, you will oversee daily health and safety practices while maintaining a high standard of housekeeping.

You will be responsible for:



* Plan, supervise, and coordinate daily activities to foster a motivated and high-performing team.


* Manage stock levels, including control and rotation of inventory.


* Oversee the operation and maintenance of the company fleet, including lorries, forklifts, and cars.


* Provide clear briefings and debriefings to drivers regarding deliveries and collections.


* Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulations.


* Efficiently manage fuel consumption and operational costs, optimising drivers' hours through effective problem-solving.


What we are looking for:



* Previously worked as an Operations Manager, Operations Lead, Commercial Manager, General Manager or in a similar role.


* Possess 2-3 years of managerial experience.


* NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent).


* A valid UK Driving Licence.
