Children's Social Worker

About the Role

• Supporting children with disabilities and their families.


• Completing Child and Family Assessments, Child in Need, and Child Protection statutory work.


• Potential to work with Cared for Children where necessary.


• Working closely with health and education professionals.


• Knowledge of Direct Payments, EHCPs, and children with disabilities work is preferred, but support can be provided.

Key Details

• Hybrid working available - ideally 2 days in Barrow & 1 day in Kendal, with flexibility.


• Must be available in the area for duty cover and visits.


• Working within a large, supportive team covering Westmorland & Furness (Eden, Kendal & Barrow).
