Position Details
As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will:

• Lead the examination, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health patients.


• Provide expert advice and consultation to other healthcare professionals.


• Support multidisciplinary teams and contribute to community-based mental health programs.


• Incorporate any specialty certificates or areas of interest into the service.


• Take part in after-hours on-call duties as required.

Job Details

• Permanent Full-time, Fixed-term, and Part-time positions available.


• Salary: MP Year 1-9, $377,557-$479,490 per annum (inclusive of base salary and allowances).


• Part-time options available, with prorated salaries.


• Professional Development Allowance: $31,926 per annum.


• 11.5% employer superannuation contribution.

Requirements
Qualifications

• Eligible for registration as a specialist in psychiatry with the Medical Board of Australia.


• Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) or equivalent.


• Extensive experience in general mental health.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Experience in rural and regional psychiatry.


• Ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
