Packing and Despatch Operative

In the role of Packing & Despatch Operative, you will be:

• Safely and efficiently picking and packing orders for dispatch, ensuring all items are securely packaged and quality checked
• Preparing shipping documents
• Processing orders and payments
• Liaising with customers
• Assisting with stock control, packing stock items, and re-stocking, inputting stock into the stock control system, and stock ordering
• General day to day administration duties

 To be successful in the role of Packing & Despatch Operative you must:

• Have previous experience in similar role
• Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal, and an enthusiastic quick learner
• Have basic computer skills (essential)  
• Ability to work under pressure in a challenge fast moving environment
• eCommerce and administration experience would be an advantage

This is a full-time temporary role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday through to Friday with no weekend working required.  The role is currently being offered on a temporary basis with the possibly of the role going permanent for the right candidate.

 £12.50 per hour + holiday pay.
