Exciting Opportunity: Band 6 Paediatric Nurse - Droitwich (Worcestershire NHS)

Service Care Solutions is proud to be recruiting for a Band 6 Paediatric Nurse to work on a temporary contract with the NHS in Droitwich, Worcestershire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced professional to make a difference in children and young people's lives while working within a supportive and rewarding healthcare environment.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing a safe waiting list and providing high-quality nursing care for children, young people, and their families (CYPF).

You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver personalised care and ensure positive outcomes for patients.

• Contract Type: Temporary


• Pay Rate: £26.50 per hour (Ltd, paid via an umbrella company).


• Working Hours: 08:00 - 17:00


• Work Pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday.

• Manage a safe waiting list, ensuring timely and effective patient care.


• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to children, young people, and their families in line with NHS standards.


• Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and provide ongoing support to CYPF in a clinical or community setting.


• Work collaboratively with other professionals within multidisciplinary teams to meet patient needs.


• Provide advice, guidance, and education to families and carers, promoting health and wellbeing.

• Current NMC registration as a Band 6 Registered Paediatric Nurse.


• Proven experience working with children, young people, and families (CYPF).


• Excellent clinical and organisational skills, with the ability to manage waiting lists safely and efficiently.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
