NHS Occupational Therapist - South Staffordshire Integrated Community Occupational Therapy Team

Contract Details:

• Duration: Minimum 12 weeks


• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM


• Pay Rate: £26 per hour

About the Role:
As a valued member of the team, you'll provide specialist Occupational Therapy intervention to support adults with physical disabilities and long-term health conditions.

Working in the community, you'll help individuals remain as independent as possible in their own homes, empowering them to maintain their quality of life.
You will:

• Assess functional abilities and environmental factors within clients' homes.


• Develop and implement individualised care plans.


• Provide advice and recommendations on adaptive equipment, home modifications, and techniques to maximise independence.


• Collaborate closely with other health and social care professionals to ensure holistic support for clients.

What We're Looking For:

• HCPC registered Band 6 Occupational Therapist.


• Experience in community settings, ideally working with adults with physical disabilities and long-term conditions.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.


• A proactive, compassionate, and patient-centred approach to care.
