Paint Sprayer
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Aerospace Paint Sprayer to join an established and reputable aerospace company.
Due to the expansion of their spraying division, this is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a background in paint spraying, ideally within the aerospace sector.
As an Aerospace Paint Sprayer, you will play a critical role in ensuring components meet exacting quality standards through precise paint application and adherence to specifications.
Key Responsibilities of an Aerospace Paint Sprayer:
- Prepare components for paint application, ensuring surfaces are clean and ready.
- Mix paint products according to specifications, including conducting viscosity checks where required.
- Apply paint schemes to components, ensuring compliance with controlled thickness requirements.
- Monitor and ensure correct dwell times between coats and curing processes.
- Complete paint record documentation, including application times, batch numbers, and job details.
- Maintain stock control of paint products, ensuring expired items are removed appropriately.
- Support the management and shop supervisor with day-to-day production tasks.
What Were Looking For in a Aerospace Paint Sprayer:
- Proven experience in a paint spraying role, ideally within the aerospace sector.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow detailed specifications and ensure compliance with strict standards.
- Familiarity with stock control and paint mixing processes.
- Team player with a proactive and adaptable approach.
