Senior Software Engineer - Java (m/f/d)

We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer specializing in Java to join a health-tech company we are partnered with.

This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge solutions in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Backend Development: Develop and optimize a serverless architecture using Java and AWS technologies.


• Cloud Solutions: Utilize AWS CDK and AWS SDK to implement and automate infrastructure as code.


• Scalable Architecture: Design a monolithic, serverless architecture focusing on efficiency and minimal dependencies.


• Automation: Build self-provisioning runtimes, automated certificate management, and CI/CD pipelines.


• Security: Implement fine-grained permissions, encryption, and automated secure provisioning.

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience in Java development


• Knowledge of serverless architecture and AWS (Lambda, S3, logging).


• Understanding of security by design, testing, APIs, and DevSecOps.

Soft Skills:

• Team Player: Enjoys collaboration and knowledge sharing.


• Ownership: Takes responsibility for projects and high-quality results.

Additional:

• Proficiency in German and English (C1/ C2 level).


• Bonus: Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Docker, and containerized environments.
