Workshop Operative Salary: £13.50-£14.50

A leading engineering company specialising in precision welding & fabrication, machining, and assemblies is looking for an all-around Workshop Operative to join their team on a permanent basis.

The company has a wide range of capabilities and supplies a wide range of industries including the aerospace sector, therefore experience within a similar field would be advantageous. 

 

Workshop Operative Role & Responsibilities

- Have a background in metalwork/sheet metal
- A background in aerospace, defence, nuclear or a similar industry is advantageous but not essential.
- Able to operate guillotines and CNC band saws.
- Use a range of hand tools and be familiar with engineering/technical drawings.
- The role will require adaptability & versatility, helping across multiple teams when needed.
- Occasional deburring & finishing, assembly and part marking.
