As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will:

• Design metal enclosures using SolidWorks to meet mechanical and functional requirements.


• Develop detailed 3D models and drawing packs for manufacturing.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with electronic packaging needs.

To apply for this Gatwick based Mechanical Design Engineer job, you will need a combination of the following:

• Proven experience in packaging electronics within mechanical designs.


• Proficiency in SolidWorks and familiarity with Creo.


• Experience in mechanical design, preferably more.


• Strong understanding of wired temperature ranges, vibration, and shock constraints would be highly beneficial.


• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.


• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
