We are looking for a Social Worker to join a Children's Safeguarding Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience.

About the Team

This team manages various complex children and family cases including those of Looked after children, Children in need and child protection.

Each social worker will be involved in assessments, planning, intervention and evaluation of each case whilst maintaining knowledge of legislations and local procedures.

They do work within a court setting where they will have to utilise their report writing skills in order to communicate clearly and effectively.

About you

A degree within social work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years' experience is essential in order to be considered for this role.

Experience working with children, their families and court work will aid in the effectiveness of the role.

A valid UK driving license and vehicle is essential to the success of this role.
