Stores Administrator

We have an excellent opportunity for a Stores Administrator to join our client in Poole, they are a well established local company who are now recognised as a leading global brand

You will be an integral part of the team as they have a global portfolio of customers, this is a straight permanent opportunity that can offer an immediate start.

You will be working Monday to Friday with an earlier finish on Fridays, the salary is £25,000-£28,000 DOE

The main duties and responsibilities for the successful Stores Administrator will include: 

- Booking goods in using ERP systems & quality checking/ inspecting 
- Packing and despatching goods
- Safe storage of finished goods, labelling correctly 
- Picking and kitting stock 
- Loading vehicles using Forklift
- Raising work orders 
- Purchasing of raw materials and consumables 
- Placing orders for sub-contract jobs 
- Progressing of purchase orders 
- Maintaining the CRM/ERP system with accurate Purchase Order delivery dates
- Assembly and inspection 

Requirements to be considered for this Stores Administrator:

- Experience in using an ERP / MRP System is essential
- Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift is essential, current licence would be desired. 
- Goods in inspection & materials control experience would be ideal but not essential 
- Knowledge/ experience within procurement or purchasing would be advantageous 
- Previous materials administration experience essential
