HVAC SME - PERMANENT - HERTFORDSHIRE

A global pharmaceutical manufacturing client based in Hertfordshire are looking for a HVAC Subject Matter Expert to join them on a permanent basis, someone who can drive performance improvements and deliver performance excellence in a fast paced environment.

You will provide technical leadership for the HVAC systems, this role is pivotal in maintaining and improving operational efficiency, safety, and quality while applying deep specialist engineering knowledge.

? Act as the engineering technical authority and subject matter expert for HVAC system
? Own and develop engineering standards for equipment setup, maintenance, and operation
? Analyze operational data to drive performance improvements and maximize business benefits
? Lead complex problem-solving and investigations for major technical issues
? Drive continuous improvement through innovation and cross-functional collaboration
? Support major capital projects, ensuring robust and standardized equipment solutions
? Develop engineering capability and knowledge across teams

? Engineering degree (BEng/IEng or equivalent experience) - actively working towards chartership preferred
? Minimum 5 years' engineering experience, ideally in a Pharmaceutical/FMCG or regulated industry
? Deep technical expertise in HVAC systems
? Strong knowledge of GMP, Quality by Design, and risk management approaches
? Experience in machinery safety, process safety, and performance analytics
? Proven ability to lead teams, solve complex problems, and drive innovation
