Head of Procurement

Our client, who offer something completely unique and exciting are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join the team as Head of Procurement.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving cost savings, promoting efficiency, and contributing to the overall affordability and sustainability of the business.

As a crucial member of the leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in the implementation of a new procurement suite tool and lead a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional results.

Responsibilities as Head of Procurement

- Lead the procurement division and drive cost savings and efficiency's
- Implement a new procurement suite tool and ensure its successful integration within the organisation
- Mentor and nurture a diverse team of individuals, ensuring effective collaboration and efficient teamwork
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to foster strong partnerships and collaboration
- Drive change and improvement within the procurement division 
- Deliver optimum results and contribute to the overall value delivery, partnership development, and risk reduction
- Meet targeted objectives and lead by example in a challenging and complex environment

Qualifications and Experience as Head of Procurement

- Proven experience in a similar leadership role within procurement
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Track record of driving change, fostering collaboration, and delivering notable results
- Experience in implementing new tools and technologies within a procurement function
- Ability to lead and mentor a multi -disciplined team in a complex and demanding environment
