As a Military Vehicle Mechanic, you'll focus on the diagnostic testing, maintenance, and repair of military and commercial vehicles.

Your expertise will ensure these vehicles remain operationally ready and meet the rigorous standards required in defence environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections and diagnostics to assess vehicle conditions for operational readiness.


• Perform maintenance and repairs on military and commercial vehicles, including hydraulics and electrical systems.


• Test and validate components to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.


• Collaborate with workshop supervisors to address faults and execute necessary repairs.


• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and defence industry protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in maintaining and repairing military vehicles, HGVs, or specialist equipment.


• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems.


• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.


• Organizational and communication skills to align with defence industry standards.


• Valid UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK with no restrictions.

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with military vehicle inspection processes, such as FMT 932 criteria.


• Experience with Mercedes-Benz military vehicles or similar.
