Cardiac Physiologist

A great opportunity is now available for a Cardiac Physiologist to join the team at a leading Glasgow hospital!

The cardiology department provides comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for cardiovascular conditions across a broad range of complexities and aetiologies, with both outpatient facilities for non-invasive testing and a state-of-the-art cardiac catheterisation lab for more intensive diagnostic and interventional procedures.

As a Cardiac Physiologist, you will join an experienced and highly skilled team in performing a wide range of cardiological investigations and procedures, including device implantations, aided by cutting-edge technologies for the smoothest possible diagnosis and treatment process.

This is a permanent, full-time (37.5h) position for a Cardiac Physiologist.

Part time hours may also be considered.

Person specification:


  • (Essential) Accredited degree-level qualification in Cardiac Physiology, e.g.

    BSc Healthcare Science / Clinical Physiology (Cardiac Physiology)
  • (Essential) Current knowledge of Cardiac Devices and clinical developments within cardiology
  • (Essential) At least 12 months’ postgraduate professional experience within a cath lab
  • (Essential) Experienced in patient care and interaction, to encompass patients in challenging situations
  • (Desirable) Recognised postgraduate qualification(s)
