Brake Press Operator 

Location: Romsey

Salary: £14-£16 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week (Day shift)

Overview:

Holt Engineering are working with a leading provider of metal fabrication services, specialising in high-quality multi-material products for both residential and commercial applications.



We are seeking a skilled Brake Press Setter and Operator to join their dynamic team.

Brake Press Operator Responsibilities:

- Setting up and operating brake presses to produce high-quality metal components.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Ensuring accurate measurements and tolerances are maintained.
- Selecting appropriate tooling and equipment for each job.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting brake press machines.
- Adhering to safety regulations and procedures.

 

Brake Press Operator Requirements:

- Proven experience in brake press setting and operation.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
