We are looking for an experienced Children's Social Worker to join a Children's Locality Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience in permanent contract/s.

About the team

There are 4 locality teams that make sure the complaints of neglect and abuse are comprehensively assessed and further social work intervention is carried out - to meet the needs of the young person or child.

The team works on medium to long term cases that are referred over by the Referral and Assessment Team.

They aim to work with a child focused based approach to ensure the best outcomes for all.

About you

Experience required within Children In Need and Child Protection will work well with this role.

A degree within Social Work (Degree/ DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years post qualified work experience is required.

A valid UK driving licence and vehicle is not essential but preferred for this position.
